Water Kiosk: Clean Water Access for M’gona Community, Lilongwe, Malawi

As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, BIG is proud to announce the successful launch of a clean water kiosk in the M’gona community, located in Lilongwe, Malawi.

This initiative provides free, reliable access to clean and potable water for local residents, directly addressing the urgent issue of water insecurity and supporting public health improvement.

The project holds special significance as many of Bajrang International's employees live in the M’gona area. By investing in this initiative, we aim not only to uplift the community but also to support the well-being of our team members and their families.

In a further commitment to sustainability and public welfare, BIG has pledged to fully cover all water supply costs incurred by the Lilongwe Water Board for this kiosk. This contribution is designed to help prevent the spread of waterborne diseases, including cholera—an ongoing public health concern in Malawi’s urban informal settlements.

This initiative is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and serves as a tangible example of how the private sector can positively impact community development. Through this project, BIG reaffirms its dedication to sustainable development, social well-being, and corporate citizenship.
